Innovation Award for Claverhouse Honey

Scottish Power Energy People Trust
Claverhouse have secured funding to run Energy Saving courses for clients for the next three years from the Scottish Power Energy People Trust. The Trust helped us build our Energy Flat four years ago, which has been used regularly to provide practical demonstrations on how to save energy in the home. The new grant will extend this service and allow us to continue offering advice and advocacy to unemployed people in Dundee. There has never been a greater need, as soaring fuel prices and reducing benefits push more and more people into fuel poverty.

Future Jobs
Claverhouse welcomed the final group of Future Jobs Fund recruits on Monday. This hugely successful initiative has seen us employ more than 120 young people in our social enterprises. Future Jobs will conclude in September, but in the mean time this induction group will be employed in one of our many employment initiatives – Wood-Wise, Sew-Smart, Handz On, Cycle Stop and Claverhouse Connect.
